When
does the MOMS
ClubŪ of Ft.
Mitchell meet? We meet on the fourth Monday of every month at 10am. Aside from our MOMS Night Out each month, all of our meetings and activities are scheduled during the day and children are always welcome. What
happens at a monthly Business Meeting? We discuss business pertaining to our club, such as an upcoming service project, activity ideas, etc. We also have a speaker at each meeting to do a brief presentation on a topic of interest. Are
children welcome at the meetings? Children
are always welcome! We provide childcare
for the children in a separate room that is staffed by volunteer club members.
The childcare is free.
How much are the dues? Membership dues for our Ft. Mitchell chapter are $20 per year. What
does a MOMS ClubŪ membership consist of? Membership
gives you a monthly newsletter, an events calendar, and the privilege to
participate in any of the MOMS ClubŪ
activities. We have at least one MOMS ClubŪ
event per week, not including playgroups and meetings. What
types of activities are planned? A typical calendar is comprised of park days, local bookstore or library story times, trips to local museums and zoos, and special child centered community events. We strive to keep a balance between activities that are free and those that require an admission fee.
May I still participate in the activities, like playgroups or field trips, even
if my child is only a few months old?
Absolutely!
You may even come while you're still pregnant with your first child. The same
applies when your children are all school-aged. We have many age specific
playgroups for our members kids. If we don't have one for your child's age
group, we can easily create a new playgroup as membership grows. What
is a MOMS Night Out? MOMS
Night Out is a scheduled evening event for moms to get away for an hour or
two. A typical night out might be
dinner at a local restaurant, an evening at a local pottery painting studio, a
night out at a spa;
whatever the members feel like doing for that month.
What if I work part-time? We welcome all moms who stay-at-home with their children at least part of the time. How
can I volunteer with the club? The
Moms ClubŪ of Ft. Mitchell has an Executive Board consisting of a President,
Administrative Vice President, Membership Vice President, Treasurer and
Secretary. These positions are
filled in June and run for the fiscal year beginning in July.
The club also has a host of committees including Advertising, Childcare,
Craft, Sunshine Committee, Publicity, Playgroup, Children's Activities, MOMS Night Out
Activities, Newsletter, and Website. We encourage our members to participate on any of the above listed
committees at any time.
What if I don't live in Ft. Mitchell? Membership
is open to those living in the Ft.
Mitchell, Park Hills, Ft. Wright, Villa Hills, Edgewood, Crescent Springs,
Lakeside Park, Crestview Hills, Erlanger, and Elsmere
areas. If you are not in one of these areas, you may wish to check The

How
do I join? Please contact us about joining the club. You are welcome to attend the next scheduled Business Meeting. When you attend the meeting you will receive further information about the club and a membership application. You are asked to pay your dues as soon as possible. Once you have joined you are free to attend all of the scheduled activities.
